Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center

Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center is located in Los Angeles County at 210 West Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012. The center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except on county holidays.

The Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center (CJCC) is a state-of-the-art facility that offers many services to the public. Some of these services include:

• assistance with crime victim compensation claims;

• assistance with criminal record clearance;

• fingerprinting services for employment and licensing purposes;

• information about restraining orders;

• victim/witness assistance program; and

• women’s resource center.

The CJCC also houses the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Headquarters for West Los Angeles, as well as the main jail for the county. Visitors to the CJCC should be aware of the following security measures in place:

• All visitors must pass through a metal detector;

• All bags are subject to search;

• No weapons or sharp objects are allowed in the building; and

• Cell phones are prohibited in the jail area.
