Clovis Courthouse is located in Fresno County at 1011 Fifth Street, Clovis, CA 93612. The courthouse is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The building houses the Superior Court of Fresno County, as well as the Clovis City Hall and the Clovis Police Department.
Clovis Courthouse was built in 1917 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The courthouse features Classical Revival architecture and is made of brick and concrete. The building has been renovated several times over the years, most recently in 1992. Clovis Courthouse is one of the oldest courthouses in California still in use today.
The Superior Court of Fresno County hears civil, criminal, and family law cases. The court has jurisdiction over all of Fresno County, which is California’s fifth largest county by population. The Clovis City Hall and the Clovis Police Department are both located in the same building as the courthouse.
