Corcoran Downtown Courthouse

Corcoran Downtown Courthouse is located in Kings County County at 1000 Chittenden Avenue, Corcoran, CA 93212. The courthouse is open to the public Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding court holidays.

The courthouse is home to the following divisions:

1) Central Division – This division handles all felony criminal cases and all family law matters, including domestic violence restraining orders, juvenile delinquency, and dependency proceedings.

2) South County Division – This division hears all misdemeanor criminal cases, small claims, civil harassment, and unlawful detainer (eviction) cases that originate in the southern portion of Kings County.

3) North County Division – This division hears all misdemeanor criminal cases, small claims, civil harassment, and unlawful detainer (eviction) cases that originate in the northern portion of Kings County.

4) Traffic Division – This division hears all traffic cases, including DUIs, and issues subpoenas for witnesses and evidence.

5) Drug Court – This division provides intensive case management and drug treatment to eligible adults who are charged with felony drug offenses.

6) Mental Health Court – This division provides intensive case management and mental health treatment to eligible adults who are charged with misdemeanors or felony offenses and have a diagnosed mental illness.

7) Veterans Treatment Court – This division provides intensive case management and treatment services to eligible veterans who are charged with misdemeanor or felony offenses.

8) Juvenile Drug Court – This division provides intensive case management and drug treatment to eligible juveniles who are charged with substance abuse offenses.

9) Juvenile Delinquency Court – This division hears all proceedings involving juvenile delinquents, including dependency, wardship, and criminal cases.

10) Probation Department – This department provides adult and juvenile probation services, as well as pre-trial services, in Kings County.
