The building was completed in November of 2004 at a cost of $172 million. It houses 28 courtrooms, the district attorney’s office, public defender’s office, and probation department. The building also has a secure underground parking garage with room for over 400 vehicles.
The exterior of the building is covered in white marble with accents of green granite. The building is designed to look like a classical Roman temple. The main entrance has two sets of bronze doors that are each over 25 feet high.
The hall of justice is open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Visitor’s passes are required after 4:00pm. You can obtain a visitor’s pass from the security desk on the first floor.
