There are nine courtrooms in the Visalia Courthouse. Courtroom 1 is located on the first floor and is used for criminal jury trials. Courtrooms 3 through 9 are located on the second floor and are used for civil jury trials, family law matters, and probate proceedings.
The Visalia Courthouse has a Self-Help Center to assist litigants who are representing themselves in court proceedings. The Self-Help Center is located on the second floor and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to noon, and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Visalia Courthouse also has a law library that is open to the public. The law library is located on the second floor and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except court holidays.
